Well one of my old Parmaks electric chargers finally bit the dust. It is old old at least 15 years. Ordered a new control unit for 85 bucks the solar panel is still working fine.

Well one of my old Parmaks electric chargers finally bit the dust. It is old old at least 15 years. Ordered a new control unit for 85 bucks the solar panel is still working fine.

Sounds like you have had good luck with Parmak and can still get parts. Usually the panel is what goes or gets weak.

They are my choice for a solar charger.
I've lost one to lighting. But trouble free otherwise.
