What is the going rate for 2 7/8 pipe in your respective areas? I need to make some panels and I think the local scrapyard is trying to give me the screw.

Steel prices are high everywhere right now, even used pipe. I ,ve got to build a V feeder this summer, maybe it will be down a little by then.

i bought drillstem pipe about 10yrs ago.an gave a $1 a foot for used.new was i think $1.50 a ft.now im betting its $3 a ft or maybe more.as said steel has gone sky high here.

I'm payn 1.89 for 2 7/8'' medium wall its close to schedule 40.
I pay 1.19 for schedule 10 2 7/8''. But this is new pipe, not that
drillstem bulls*it. All the drillstem I've used is magnetic, & it
rarely cut's & welds right.
