Feeding was getting to be a real hassle so we have started training our calves to come to the back door and ring the doorbell when they are hungry.

Upon hearing the doorbell one of us will give the calf their appropriate ration. In this case a rice crispy treat.

This feeding method has worked well for us so far.

Thanks, I found a couple of my old phones and a bunch of pictures I had forgotten about, the calf in the pictures was always getting out and hanging out around the house so we made a bit of a pet out of him. It gets a little crazy up on our hill!

I just remember her saying that as soon as a rich man with a jumbo (you know) comes along, the current Mr Chevy was history.

Reminded me of another person trolling here.

I really liked those pics of the calves coming in the back door on this thread. Reminds me of my nurse cows when they were calves on the bottle.
