Our 4 yr. old is in charge of these, good start so far but I think we started a little too early and will need to transplant to bigger pots before going outside. Can you guess the two plants in the pic? There are more but they didn't make the pic.

The plant in the front of the picture is either canteloupe or watermelon, I'm guessing watermelon.

The other is, (even though it doesn't really look like it) corn. The package in the back of the picture gave it away. 8)

Ah yes, the package in the back duh :dunce: I didn't even notice it. It is Silver Queen corn. Keep guessing on the other, your close.

We have a winner, I knew it wouldn't take y'all long. The first morning they started coming up she thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. She came running in our bedroom screaming they're growing, they're growing! A memory for a lifetime.

You need to set them outside for a while every day to get them acclimated to the weather. They look a little to big already but hopefully they make it.

What fun! I miss those days (before they know everything!) We used to take the tops of carrots and put in a pickle jar lid to watch it grow and of course, sweet potatoes. My kids used to love that. It is important for children to feel a connection to the soil.
