Theres not a thing in the world wrong with " Brimmers " They happen to be my breed of choice and I think those are some mighty fine heifers.

I wish Oklahoma had a little bit warmer winters, I would love to have some of those Brahmer. They slick up sooooo nice in the summer time. KaneRanch

I really like em too, nothin does no better, where I live. I just have trouble selling em with with my others. If I lived in Tx. I would probably appreciate them more. But in order to keep the
buyers happy, I have learned to like them hairy, runny eyed,
cattle that are standing in my pond, with there tongues hangin out. I growed up on "brimmers, Pap still has em. But then again his place is paid for, mine ain't.

Never said there was anything "wrong" with Brimmers. I think they are good lookin cattle too.

I knew you werent knocking Brammers, Its just like a second job for me to take up for them because I catch alot of flack from friends about how much I like them. My philosophy is this : " The bigger the ears and hump the more I like them " I bet I'll get a laugh or two about that.

They are good looking cattle but they have never caught on in our part of Kentucky. You see an occasional one running in herds of mixed cows ( a sale barn bargain ). They do look strange in with the Angus, BWF and Charolais crosses that make up the majority of cattle in our area. Any excess ear or sheath just gets too much of a price discount. Is this really justified?

I have some brammer influence in some of mine but I try to keep the ear length to a minimum. If I don't they just flap their ears and fly over my fences.
