What does everyone think about this steer? Purebred shorthorn.He weighs about 1000-1,100ish

He looks real good. He appears to be standing the wrong direction on a slight incline, which doesn't help the picture.
I like his frame. He should be able to easily pack on another 200 pounds to finish. Really sharp fronted; legs, and depth of rib are both good. Looks to have a pretty smooth shoulders which lead me to suspect his thickness behind. If the Butt is as good as the rest, enjoy spending your premium money.

80 days at 2.5 - 3.0 pounds/day gain = 200 - 240 lbs.
That should have him finished.

Like AAOK said it hink he is standing on a slight incline making him look like he runs down hill. He has the perfect depth for his length. hes clean throughout. nice lines also. carries that muscle far on that back leg. and my show is also the end of feb first of march and normally if my calf eats good and weighs 1000-1100 he is finished at the show. I like this calf can you tell?
