Plastic is getting thinner and thinner it seems as use to the tank was the last thing to go. Probably made in China.

It was from harbor freight so definitely China made. I've bought expensive sprayers and cheap ones both don't seem to last like those old metal bodied sprayers

I have a hardie made knapsak sprayer I've had for 31 years and still as good as the day i got it. Done a lot of work. Had to change the diaphragm in pump once and the hand lance twice. I've recently started using the 10L ones you carry around as i find because they are air pressurised they use every last drop of spray and you don't have to keep pumping them.

Just FYI, the transfer pump from HF you recommended will not pump Hydraulic Fluid. I guess it is only for diesel. But it works great for that!

I've gotten so old and decrepit that I have to put the 4 gal sprayer on the 3rd step back porch and sit on the 2nd step to get the thing on and be able to stand back up. (I had to make new straps for mine too, but it was because rats chewed 'em up.)
