Finally got my deer back the only one I ever mounted or considered good enough.
Photo quality is poor my flash is not working for some reason. Most likely caused by
the loose screw behind the camera.

Nice buck. He must have been a tall deer. The picture makes him look like he has a long neck.

He wasn't anywhere close to being the heaviest I ever taken. He was a tall lean deer.
He was harvested in Jan so he had run everything off fighting and chasing does I would imagine.
Biologist aged him at 6 1/2 and I had him scored mounted at 129 7/8 .

High I passed my stress test that day cause I could hear Indian war drums when he walked out.

This is the one I would really like to get, seen him one time in day light last year in bow season out of range.
He gave the old ticker a pretty good jump as well.

who'd you hunt with?

Different ranches my youngest is a disabled vet that got involved in this program to feed disabled
vets and their families. He and some other functioning disabled vets work with several ranches on culling.
They skin and process several hundred deer and prepare them.
