Eastern Oklahoma is beautiful as far as western goes you couldn't raise an umbrella sitting on a sack of fertilizer.
 
They got lots of little round red hills sticking up all over the far western part--around Elk City anyway. Most miserable place I ever worked--nothing but a couple of barbwire fences to stop the wind coming down from Canada.
 
Yes, it is a horrible place. Wind was 35+ yesterday. The red dirt will stain your britches. It's cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Rivers dry up in the summer. If I was on the east coast looking to move, I'd go to Texas. Down around the Houston area to be exact. Tall trees, plenty of water, friendly people, near the ocean, plenty of jobs and cheap land. Yep, Texas is the place I'd go. :mrgreen:

I agree CF. No one should move to Oklahoma. It is nothing like the paradise of Texas. The most beautiful place on earth for those of you looking to get out of San Fran, LA, Chicago, and NY City, is most definitely The Big Thicket East Texas. Move there today before it's too late, but whatever you do, don't even visit this waste of space they call Oklahoma.

Galveston to Huntsville is a solid mass of humanity living in chicken coops.
I was down at a grandsons BD party yesterday. We were at a go kart track, it was located at one of the places I used to deer hunt.
