I haven't spoken to Ali in almost a month so I do hope she is OK . I have to apologize to her and many others on here for being not as responsive as I should be to PM's . Sorry, but life has me a little overwhelmed right now. Either I have too much on my plate or I need a much bigger plate !

I think traffic has been a little slow on the boards lately. Maybe it'll pick up during the dead of winter.

The Canadians are all scrambling to get things done before winter really sets it, so don't be surprised if most aren't around for at least a couple more weeks. Nesi and I are addicted to this, so we won't leave, and HD has likely had serious withdrawal, so she is medically treating herself by coming back.

Rockridge hasn't been around either, so it all plays into my winter excuse.

It's too cold for the internet to move!
I'm doing a lot of shop work right now, just about got my dad's truck painted, we just finished the box and canopy and it looks VERY nice.. It's been one of those never ending projects.. I might have a touch of ADD.. I can't concentrate on the same project of 6 months

All fine here thanks folks.

Had two cows calve the Friday before last, the following day they both had milk fever. I didn't withdraw the lucerne from their ration timeously  Then one of the cows stepped on her teat when trying to stand up and pulled half the skin off. The other has managed to poke her eye with something and it seems is loosing the eye. Her calf all of a sudden developed a loud 'rasping' sound when breathing, almost as if it has a obstruction in the throat, have medicated and it seems like it's improving. It's not pneumonia, it drinks healthily and then bloats up...never seen the likes in all these years :???: Cows, cows, cows...never a dull moment :D

It's rained and everything is green and fresh and I have been able to start working the ground to plant fodder and things

BTW - HD, you have done nothing to apologize for :D
