Off to a sale or two

Will be off to a few sales over the next three weeks. This week going to a all breeds sale to have a look at the Brahmans,next week we are off to a South Devon sale to maybe buy a heifer of two. Then a couple of weeks later we are off to a Hereford sale to maybe buy a top quality heifer. (bought at this sale last year and are really pleased with cattle)
Any way we'll see how we go. It will be a nice outing if nothing else.

Went to the allbreeds sale. top price was for a Brangus bull, $5,500 Charolais made to $4,500,Simmentals to $2,750,Charbrays made to $3,000,Brahmans made to $2,750 and Droughtmasters made to $2,500.
Last week I went to a Murray Grey and South Devon sale.
Top price was for the MGs at $7,000 and the top SD bull $3,400. I bought a SD cow for $1500. She is about a month off calving,she's by a top polled New Zealand bull and in calf to the same sire of a bull calf that I bought two years ago.
Off to a Hereford sale next week and then off to another the week after. Might buy a bull at the week after next one.
