I don't get it, I understand as a kid being square was like a nerd, but obtuse..like a triangle ?

I at times ask lots of dumb questions just to see how a persons mind works
When I try it on her she says I'm being purposely obtuse
She's smarter than I am but again she did marry me so I may be giving her too much credit
