Nutrition Requirement Handbook

Hello all,

Just balanced a new ration, and after digging up my old books, I got to wondering if there is such a thing as a "Cattleman's Handbook", with content such as nutrient requirements, dry matter conversions, nutrient characteristics of various feedstuff's, etc. Anyone know of such a critter?

Extension Service should have one. Georgia has a Master Cattlemens course and they give you a handbook that has a bunch of good info in it. Like to get one myself but I never have been able to make it to the class.

"The Stockmans Handbook" by Ensminger. Has pretty much everything you would ever need to know.

The Master Calltlemans Handbook from OSU has all that stuff and more in it.
