Now Brangus Optimizers???

I guess the latest trend is for everyone to start a breed association and register cattle. I just read where a new registry is being created for "Brangus Optimizers", which if I read right is a cow that has at least 50% brangus.

Ultrablack, ultrared, angus plus, angus supreme - I guess there will be a day when no cow is crossbred, you just have to find the right registry. Black herefords still make me laugh. I think I need to buy me a golden ultra-certified Jersey supreme to keep around to serve as a foster moma. Anyone else tired of all of these registries sprouting outof the wood work?

It all boils down to money for the the breed organizations. They all have to figure out a way to raise more money to pay their salaries and fund studies that say that they have the best breed and crossbreed in the business.
