My cattle have never practiced social distancing; they completely disregard my personal space and my Polaris is like a magnet.

Moose is not only obnoxious, he licked my wine-to-go cup. At least he's a happy drunk!

Fighting over whose gonna drive? Dunno. But nothing is sacred in, on or around my ride. They will chew, lick and quite often run away with anything left unattended.
 
Beautifull photos TC. They depict what they are like pretty good. It gets to the point where you avoid going in to check them out. I find it becomes difficult when you try to work them in the yards, they just stand there and look at you, my dogs were very handy but unfortunately I am without a working dog at the moment.

Yes, double edge sword, Ken. On the one hand it is sometimes hard to work them because they are too docile. On the other, it makes it easier when they're out to pasture. Recently had one with a large stick stuck between her toes for 2 days. Obviously it wasn't going to dislodge so my husband hand fed her cubes while I went to work with a flathead screwdriver and needle nose pliers to get it out - in the middle of the hay field. Bless her heart, she just stood there. The stick stunk to high heaven but she wasn't limping so saw no need for antibiotics and she's perfectly fine. But foot rot is not uncommon with our rocky terrain and if I catch it early I can usually just treat with Sustain III cattle boluses and squirt Kopertox between the toes in the pasture. Obviously not a thorough diagnosis/treatment but pretty effective as a first line of defense.

LOL! It was actually wine night with my best friend (Hubby is Natty Light only - no wine) and we went out to feed my bottle twin. Even she gets mauled by my girls!
