That is a nice one. I had one that looks a lot like her born Saturday. One more cow should calf in the next couple of weeks and then I'm done until this fall.

Really purdy heifer! Having all Brangus, I sure do miss those white markings! I think I will buy a Herf this year just so I can have some white faces!
 
I like the uniformity of the all-brown animals, and can tell them apart anyhow, but it's nice to have a little white... My old girl Rosie was good at that... her last calf was a brockleface, before that a full whiteface.. I think the next generation of calves I'll have will have pretty much no white. Most of my current brocklefaces are on the cull list, and the cows who throw marked calves are on my do-not-keep-heifers-from list for other reasons... I do have a couple that might throw a tiny bit of roan from the shorthorn for years to come

In what market are you talking about? Replacement, sale barn...? I have three from those baldy x Gelbvieh matings that I'll need to move in a few months and would like to market them like gold. :D

Replacement. Bred heifers are like gold around here. If we don't drought out again real bad they should stay strong for a while to come.

Gotcha. Not looking to keep them around that long, but might explore the Craigslist standby. Who knows, might even start a thread about CL heifers. :lol:
