Many people know that eating too much cheese can lead to obesity and unhealthy cholesterol levels.
But there’s a way to make it a healthier part of your diet: Eat cheese sourced from sustainably raised cows.
Snip
Cheese made from this milk thus becomes healthier, too.
It may cost a bit more than milk from feedlots, or containment dairies, but many consumers report that it’s tastier and more satisfying — so they’re likely to consume less of it.

Do you think this is just Animal rights propaganda or is there some truth to it?

Is grass-fed beef better for you?
It usually has higher concentrations of some nutrients: antioxidants, some vitamins, a kind of fat called conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and the long-chain omega-3 fats mostly found in fish. It also has less fat overall.
Most health claims focus on the omega-3 fats, which are generally regarded as healthful. The other nutrients are less relevant, says Alice H. Lichtenstein, a professor at Tufts University’s Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy: Either their amounts are too small to be significant or evidence of their value is equivocal. (Read the research on CLA, for example, and you find that a lot of “further research is warranted” and “findings are inconsistent.”)

“ findings are inconsistent “
I guess the results of the study depends on who is paying for it.

Grass (Forage) Fed – On January 12, 2016, the Agricultural Marketing Service withdrew the Grass (Forage) Fed Claim for Ruminant Livestock and the Meat Products Derived from Such Livestock (Grass (Forage) Fed Marketing Claim Standard)”. A copy of the standard will remain on the website for reference; however, AMS will no longer verify applicant’s programs to the Standard.

IMO,
*** BUSTED *** !
There is no proof of a health advantage by eating grass-fed beef. And those that claim there is are falling prey to the Animal rights nuts and/or the environmental nuts who using lies, deceit and deception propaganda to promote their own personal interest.

Those Fat Bxstxrds... the early cholesterol studies from the '50s crucifying fat and cholesterol from
dairy products have been debunked. Butter, cheese, whole milk ect are all good for you, in moderation of course,
but much better than good old Oleo that rose from those studies to become margarine and other plant or
vegetable oil based substitutes. "Yes, I can absolutely believe it's not butter."
However cheese consumption is far from the leading cause of Fat Bxstxrds in the usa.

Tastes too good to eat?
Too pricey yes, that will limit consumption, too tasty no.
I have spent $20 lb for cheese, but I only buy a few ounces at a time and I don't use it to bait mouse traps.

Feedlots don't sell milk. But propaganda from animal rights activists says they do.

Animal rights advocates do not want anybody eating any meat of any kind, grass fed or whatever. You got it all wrong, LC. It's the people raising grass fed that's promoting grass fed, not animal rights activists.

SOB, good catch.

That is exactly what it is, PETA/environmental wacko's propaganda. They use to call it factory farming, now that they have lumped beef and dairy cattle together, They now call all confinement for cattle a feed lot And confinement to them means under 4 ac per head .
See video # 10. That to them is a feed lot.

As is this.

And this,

There's some truth in that.
PETA nuts beats the drum for humane treatment
Animal rights nuts beat the drum for humane treatment and grass fed.
Environmental wackos beat the drum for stewardship of the land. Hence grass fed.
To me there ain't a dimes worth of difference between the 3.

I respect your right to be an idiot, it don't offend me in the least.

You don't believe your rhetoric is changing folks mind, do you?
