Butcher bulls topped at $121.50 and there was a group of black two year old heifers that weighed 1050 and got to $158.00 They would have gone to a guy who breeds and resells them.

Remember he is in Canada. Doing the conversion to American dollars that is about what they were selling for here today. I guessed that the exchange rate is 0.75. Probably wrong but not too far off one way or the other.

Here in Va last week cull cows were in the 60's and 70's... good fleshed ones in the 11-1400 lb range in the mid and upper 70's.... saw a couple of 1000-1100 lb heifers that probably didn't breed bring .80. Slaughter bulls in the 15-2200 lb range were in the mid and upper 90's... That is a big improvement from the 70's just a few weeks ago.
