I had a heifer calf born the other day with no tail. Not even a nub. She seems to be healthy and otherwise normal but it is different. She will have a tough time swatting flies this summer.

Dad and I ran 662 stockers in the chute the otherday and whacked all their tails off with the sawsall. After that we chopped all the 82 cows tails off we aint gotta worry bout it no more :lol: :shock: :roll:

Nature likes to throw something new at us. I would report it to breed assn. if purebred parent on either side.
