We popped the cork tonight !!!!!!! Have been saving this bottle for great news about Nikkle and we finally got it this afternoon.

THANK YOU to all of my beloved friends and family for your never ending prayers, positive thoughts and support these last few months . Nikki's bile acids came back phenomenal, her liver is fully functioning and should keep regenerating and repairing as time goes on. Surgery was a complete success !!! No words can say how grateful I am to you all, you have my endless gratitude . Thank you all so very very much♥

For those that do not know Nikkles story she had liver shunt surgery on March 21 2013 .

Great news! I'm happy for ya. When Danny pulled through after getting shot through the ribs a few weeks ago I was extatic. Glad your worries are over. Danny said he will post a congrats pic tomorrow for her to look at. :D

liver shunt..is that like a Portosystemic shunt surgery for the liver. My Cat Jake had one of those ops when he was a kitten and they told me he would never make old bones, but he was nearly 15 years when he passed the other year.

I'm very happy to hear this news, hon. I know how much she means to you both and hopefully she will fill your lives with joy for many years to come.

For what it's worth, I think of Steffie often, too. The sadness of losing a good dog that's given years of unconditional love is not lost on our family.
