Houston at New England 8:25 pm I just didn't see that Houston played good enough last week to beat NE even with Pats' rookie qb this week--unless Jimmy Garoppolo is well enough to play.. and I want to see if New England's wide receiver/qb can throw more than one completion in his NFL career.

Houston loses 27-0 against a 3rd string rookie QB. That, was ugly. Offense, special teams and defense all sucked.
Very much out coached as well.

I went to bed at halftime, and was glad I did when I got up this morning and saw the score. I recorded it, but I think I'll just delete that.

First game against a real opponent and they got skunked--badly. Houston's offense was on the field only about 4 minutes of the whole 3rd qtr. Their defense was non-existent. I think I heard Watt's name mentioned only once the whole game. Dropped passes, passes for just a few yards and I don't think Houston got past the 50 yard line but a few times. 4th qtr, on a kickoff, Houston's receiver elected to catch the ball on the 4 yard line instead of letting it go in the end zone--and if I remember correctly, signaled for fair catch. It was terrible start to finish.

They got embarrassed that is for sure

Pats announced today, that qb Jacoby Brisset injured his thumb in 3rd qtr of last nite's game when Wilfork fell on him. He's questionable for their Oct 2 game against the Bills.

If Jimmy Garoppolo is also not ready for the Bills, they have 2 choices--bring in someone else (such as former Houston Texan backup qb TJ Yates who did a workout last week for the Pats) or use Pat's wide receiver Julian Edelman. I wonder if LeGarrette Blount can throw what passes....... for a forward pass---or, he could line up behind center and just hand the ball off to himself?
I think they will still, much to Roger Goodell's chagrin, beat Buffalo.

Not looking good at all.
Misses in the 7 early games include
Arizona
Carolina
Detroit
Tenn

I'm pretty happy with the Vikings so far. Lost starting qb, running back, and left tackle for at least the regular season and still made it to 3-0
