Acording to Nancy we now have assualt magazines for our assualt rifles.
Makes you wonder what those idiots are going to dream up next.
Me thinks they should check webster and find out what assualt really means.Now how do you think restricting the number of rounds in a magizine will help? I can and have ejected a 7 round magazine and reloaded another in less than 2 seconds in a 1911 colt.
Counting one in the chamber and 7 in the magazine that gave me 15 rapid fire shots.
And a Glock 17 full size holds 17 rounds in a factory magazine. :bang:

They are all idiots we assualted our way west with the 45 Long Colt (17 rounds in a Henry) then the World with the 1911 and a M-1 both carry eight. The Nazi's with the 9mm Luger.

My thoughts are those idiots in the whitehouse are deffinately going to make a change in the 2nd ammendment no mater what.
Sooner or later.And it won't be pretty.
It may cause more turmoil than they expect considering there's still some good ol country boys out there whom they will turn into criminals.
I can name at least one right off the top of my head.I for one do not like the way they are slowly and surely hacking away my rights and my freedom. Mostly I'm an easy going feller but I sure seem to be upset a lot lately.

I'm convinced that they don't really care to fix anything. It's about making somebody else look bad to make themselves look good. It's about winning. No matter at whose expense. Even kids lives.

Just look at the guns and ammo being sold lately'
And I don't think it's because of Christmas.
How many people in the US owns a gun you think?
My guess would be a bunch owns at least one.
And several of us more than one.

If you can quickly say how many you own when ask, you don't own nearly as many as you should.

There needs to be some type of gun control. But it needs to start with the criminals, if a criminal is caught with a gun they need to get the death penalty. And how about all these people that are on anti-depression drugs. This is a big deal in this country, starts as a child with the ritalin drug for ADD. I went and saw the family for Christmas and my brother is on something after his divorce, and he's screwed up half the time and it's legal drugs. He's not a gun freak like me but he has plenty. Tried to talk to him and my Dad but no use, I guess all you can do is hope and pray, cause he's already half crazy when he was straight. People on anti-depression drugs should not have guns, that's what kind of gun control laws we need. Sorry for the rant.

Hold up highgrit. I have to take a little exception to the ADHD part of your comment. My son, as great as he is, has got a bad case of ADHD. To the point hay his impulse control is so non exsistant that he hurts himself bad. He was in the emergency room alot until he started taking a med to help him focus. He comes by it honest. I've got it too, but I didn't start being able to control my impulses until I was about 15-16. We make the doc knows that he is only to get enough to help him control himself. And it's not about being crazy, or us being lazy.
Back on topic...how many here are on anti depressants?
Should all people on antis be stopped from owning guns, or just people on certain meds? Where do you draw the line? Fact is there's a stigma attached to mental illness. Yes, meds are way over prescribed. But alot of people truly do need the help of medicine, without being looked down upon.
If they weren't looked down upon,maybe, just maybe more would stay on their medicine. And just maybe there would be less senseless violence.
Mental illness is something I can speak with personal experience and knowledge about because of the dealings I've had with family members. Lets not disparage someone just because they have a true illness.
It's got to all start with personal responsability. I would no sooner leave my guns out with a uneducated child around than I would if someone that was mentally ill came to visit.
