OH
I just got back from dinner at the church. Everyone rushed out of the services yesterday so to get home and get dinner in the oven.
So the congregation had a meal today. Everyone brought something and the pastor cooked up a hog that was bought at the county fair last year. Great meal and great folks. Had a good time.
The thunderstorm put a bit of a damper on the part where we all stand around the hog and talk but all turned out well.
And the sourcrout was the best I'd ever had. I like it to put a good pucker on ya. Man that sure did it. Those older folk in the congregation sure know how to cook yet.
Hop ya'll have a prosperous New Year full of good food and good fellowship.

i like black eyed peas with mayoinnaise on top. then you mash it in good.

i think i'll pass on the sauerkraut!

See I told ya this is not a person who "doesn't like people or being around them and would rather be alone" or whatever she said some time back. ;-)
