I put in some new water trough on limestone pads. One 150 gal and two 300 gal.

This is the 150. It's in my catch pen.

This is one of the 300 gal. They are both identical and they both water two different pastures each.

Here's some heifers I'm keeping.

That looks real good but I'd worry about someone getting frisky and breaking that PVC down pipe...

They did, so I'm going to box the pipe in after I put insulation on. Cows are curious about everything and one of them reached over and was noseing the floatation valve and broke the pipe.

those pads an water troughs look real good.if your floats arnt protected you need to protect them.because cows love to break them.an flood the place.

Looks like a good setup. I got a similar one for a catch pen and a pasture, but I got cattle a cattle panel going across the middle of my tank, and metal posts on each side where its tied to. Believe me, if you have it there long enough, one of the young calves, or a cow, will eventually get in there one way or another or at least get banged up against it, and tear it up.
