new residents in my pool

i have been working on getting my pool up and running, had to order new seals and strainer basket i put some sockit in last week to keep the scarys out.. well the past 2 night its been a frog party out there.. i caught 7 today relocated them to my garden pond.. now my motor is dead.. after working all morning replacing parts... :mad:

When you say pool, do you mean swimming pool?

I'm not a fussy old guy but, don't reckon I'd swim in that. :banana: :banana:

yes this is my swimming pool or what use to be LOL i have a garden that has a pond with gold fish and it full of tad poles so i can run my pump in there till the tadpoles are frogs i did that last year a bunch got in the pump :{ so beeing the nice person that i am im not running it till they grow but my swimming pool !!!!
im sure the wet land scotiey will shut me down soon LOL

I think those therapy sessions I got you are working, Ryder. You seem to have made some nice progress.

We don't have frogs. We have toads. They drown. :(
 
yeah it;s sad but that my swimming pool ! ordered parts for filter.. now my motor went... got a new complete one off ebay will be here next week... i had my other one for 16 yrs i should of just bought a new one instead of trying to replace some parts,,, gurrrr live and learn , its clear now all the greens is gone no more bugs but the frogs are still hanging out... once i get the pump up and running i can hit it hard w chlorine..

We have trouble with our seals wintering here in Montana too! They always want to move to the coast... But I'll bet the new ones will take care of of your frog problem! As a side note, they don't play well with bass or bluegill either! :D
