New Ranch Hand Simmental Bull....Pics

Okay, so I am a little late in getting the pictures posted. This is a 15 month old Purebred Simmy bull (sire is Sand Ranch Hand, out of a Joker cow).

These are from another Simmi bull, but I liked them so thought I would share.

I told you I was photographically challenged...LOL Never mind the wood chips. I elected not to brush and blow dry him. :cboy:

He's standing a little funny, but thought I would include anyway...

WHAT? :shock: Thats it??? I was bracing for a ripping up of my new boy (boys don't have 41 cm scrotum), so my new man! I feel cheated! :lol2:

Personally, I would like to see his topline in 6-8 months. Sometimes it is perfectly straight, and sometimes a little "not quite as straight". I think it depends on if he is trying to impress a lady. Oh...and while posting the pictures I got to looking at his ears. Not sure if I like his ears...LOL Might need to get out the knife on those. :lol2:

Well if he is the best you could find i guess he will do.Hope he didn't set you back to much. Was expecting a lot more bull than what i am a seeing. We won't no for sure how good he is till ole Justa give us a real e val u way ation :lol: :lol:

OK! Yes he may have some topline issues not terrible but not an eyecatcher for sure. Don't care about his ears he has 2, good enuf for me, Good depth and capacity i think his length may make him look a little tubular but he is not. Plenty of butt and plenty of nuts. The only thing that really bothers me is he is cut kinda high in the flank.

Ding Ding Ding! I agree. I was waiting for the flank comment. I decided to accommodate the high flank because I liked too many other attributes, like guts, butts and nuts.

I hope you guys got some rain late summer/fall..!! It was sure dry in the Denver area when I flew there both times this year.

As you see, it's tough to get a pic that really represents what he looks like in person. The best pic is the last one where you say he is standing funny.
I agree with the criticque you got. He is long, deep, thick & yes 41 cm is GREAT!! I have a few Ranch Hand females. GREAT!! One was Supreme at state fair as a Sr Hfr Calf at 10 months old. One was never shown, but I named her Wicked Good and she has lived up to her name.
I have a RH bull calf - 9 months old - Res Grand Champion. I kept him for clean-up next spring.
So, yes, I like the RH cattle.
