I sprigged a new pasture this spring with Jiggs bermuda. I put out fertilizer per soil sample for establishment in February. Its looking good and I could bale it early October or just leave it alone until next Spring. Luckily I don't have to have the hay this year. All the other pastures were sprigged 50 years ago with coastal so I don't have any experience with new fields. Soil sample said to add additional N once grass is established. Looking for opinions on the following options.

Do nothing until Spring.
Fertilize with N and wait until Spring.
Fertilize with N and bale in October.

Without seeing it.....I'd say leave it be. Let those runners get a good root system going instead of having a rake rip them out.
