makes about 65 good bales and then starts to miss tying on left and knotter any ideas why

There are 2 reasons I've seen. One is not enough grease the other is the knotter get's jammed up with too much junk (twine scraps)

There is a small flat spring that is attached by a 5/16 bolt. Try tightening it 1/6 of a turn. Fixed mine.
