Granbaby number 4 came yesterday - a boy. Everyone is fine. 7 lbs 9 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. His big brother, Poppa and Nana are all thrilled.

Congrats Boogie. I'm beginning to look forward to grandkids someday. Just not in a hurry for my girls to get married off. I haven't noticed any young men hanging around here yet that are good enough for them... (But unfortunately nobody seems to care much what I think about that situation.)

Heard this line on TV once about Dads and daughters and thought it pretty well summed up the dynamic: "All your advice becomes optional the day they get their first training bra."

Congrats on the new addition boogie! May he be healthy as a horse and smart as a whip!

DITTO to all of the above.

I envy you. We are still waiting for one of the sons to man up and make one. :D

Shoot, I'm gone a few days and I miss out on all the fun. Congratulations, backhoe. What
a blessing. And Happy Birthday, too.

Congrats BHB and glad to hear everyone is healthy!

I remember you saying something about inducing - so many secondary targets - Granpa's b-day, last baby of 2009/first of 2010 ! All the possible TV talk show appearances and book options!

Main thing is everyone is fine. Grandchildren are like having children with no real expectation you won't spoil the heck out of them. :lol2:

Thanks everyone. The holidays used to get me down, missing my folks and all. Now they are wonderful again. It has all been a very special week. Calves are starting to hit the ground too and that's exciting.
