new flag

The Stars and Stripes has been getting pretty worn flapping in the dusty breeze here on my flagpole. My wife and I decided to replace it with something more historical since we live on property with strong ties to my family's heritage. We did some digging into family history and agreed on the Gadsden flag.
The Stars and Stripes was retired this morning and "Don't Tread On Me" is going up at sunrise tommorrow.
I'm so proud that my eight year old son was able to respectfully fold and retire the colors. I can remember thinking about what that flag meant when I was his age.

I think we all know that....but they should have been flying them that way before the election.
