This weekend we were fortunate enough to pick up a cow a heifer. This past December we went to a breeder and picked out a heifer from a group that he was holding back for himself. He agreed to keep her and AI her for us. A few weeks ago he preg checked her and she was open so he picked a different heifer for us. We also we looking for a cow, so he picked out one for us. The cow that he picked happened to be the mother of the original heifer. I really like that b/c not only do I get to see the cow, but I've seen her calf and how she acts and looked, and we get those bloodlines.
Here's her pedigree:

It's what I could get yesterday. The heifer was not cooperating, so I'll just have to keep trying.
She's AI bred to this bull:

And exposed to this bull. We got to see this bull in person, and I was pretty impressed with him. He was very gentle and polite, and built very well. If we have a calf from him I won't complain, that's for sure.
