or should I say new Balancer. Coming up the drive I saw a new calf out in the field. Looks like it was born this morning. A bull calf out of an In Focus cow and my Gelbvieh bull. Good looking little critter that has a great look already. I am looking forward to seeing him grow.
 
What did you do with your bull? Saw the Tenn. bulls today for seedstock plus had some real lookers in the group.

He is burning hay and awaiting a ride to the sale barn after his withdrawal period.
If I can get away I am going to try and go to the seedstock plus sale. Did you see any particular bulls I should pay close attention to?

Saw a lot of good deep uniformed bulls, a bunch jump out at you while they are walking them out real good group. Videos should be out here shortly that what they were doing yesterday. Was to busy looking at my bulls in other pens, just watched they walking.

You have any in the TN sale? I would like to take a gander at them when the video comes out.

I had that concern. I emailed the breeder on 3 bulls that I was eyeballing in the catalog (from Kansas). He said his bulls are on fescue pastures until weaning and then put up to be fed grain and hay. I am thinking that if I bought a bull from out there that I would put him in a smaller lot with some grass but feed hay and grain in a diminishing fashion while expanding his access to grass until I felt comfortable......I don't know......I am open to ideas. Allot of Kansas bulls wind up here in middle TN from that sale and I haven't heard of any dropping dead :o
