New Angus bull

Well, got him home last night, and turned out with cows this morning.
Seems like he's pretty docile, in spite of what his EPD's suggest.

DOB 3-14-23
BSE results were 93% and 36cm sc.
EPD's aren't great. I'd prefer some more frame, and feet and legs could be better, but as far as I can tell he seems like a pretty good Angus bull to me.
I've used registered Angus bulls for probably 20 years, This is the first registered one we've had in probably 5 years though.

Always hard to tell from pictures, I agree with you on the feet, not really crazy about them. He's thick enough and should work fine.

I bought a bull this spring with similar EPD's, more of the older low maintenance bloodlines. Seen him breeding cows in 95 plus temps the last couple weeks. My herd leans more that way all the time though, those old genetics definitely have their place in fescue country.

You bring up a good point. Although when i was young we didn't have as much fescue i never remember cows having a problem with it.
