I posted awhile back that 1 of my neighbors heifers got in with my bull. She came to visit and tore down the fence to get in. Anyway the neighbor said he would give her a shot to get rid of the calf because he pulled way to many calves from hereford bulls in the 80s. Well he called me and let me know that he didnt give her a shot and she calved unassisted and now wants to use him on more heifers. Well I had to tell him that I got rid of him in may. I told him that I would not let him use my new bull because of BW to high so I steerd him to the guy that I got mine from.
Guess we will see if a hereford shows up in his pasture full of angus cows.
That little calf sure is easy to see in the pasture. weighed aprox. 79lbs he said ( bull calf)
