Neighbor's bull

Just thought I would share this from last weekend. I get up before daylight because I have work to do on the barn. While drinking my coffee I decide to go out to the replacement heifer pen to make sure they have water. I'm standing there drinking my coffee in the dark and notice that there are more dark shadows than should be. It gets a little lighter and I see a big old black angus bull standing there eating my hay.

The neighbors bull had jumped the fence to get to one of the heifers that was bulling. He got her too. I called the neighbor and told him he needed to come get his bull and then I removed my heifers to another paddock. Fortunately this heifer was the oldest and ready to breed. I was just waiting on the others. So now I probably have a bred heifer by the neighbors bull. Commercial stuff so no big deal.

My neighbor and I get along really well so I am going to catch him one day and ask for child support. :lol: I think he will get a kick out of it.

Wish my neighbors Herford would jump the fence I got some hiefers that could use his attention (and child support tooo :-)

Real quick. We have a case that went through the court system and has set precedence concerning a common fence between neighbors:

" Not only is a fence's usefulness designed to keep cattle in the property of concern, but also to keep stray or adjoining cattle out of one's pasture."

Real quick. We have a case that went through the court system and has set precedence concerning a common fence between neighbors:

Not sure what the bull's income is. I wonder if the bull has insurance. ;-)

Trust me I know all about the purpose of a fence. I have been fencing other folks stock out of my place for years. The fence he jumped is now 5 feet high with double strands of barbed wire on top. I think it would even hold up to one of Crowders X's now. :lol:

Most of them Black bulls sit on the porch waiting for a check on the 1st of the month.Flaboy, I seriuosly doubt you have the capabilities to build a fence THAT strong.Usually requires D.O.T. approved materials. BTW my Wife said you looked great on American Midol, oops, I meant Idol.That Michael jackson rendition was fabulous she said.

No I figure you can't get blood out of a welfare bull.

As far as Idol goes, think nothing of it. Just want to let you know I saw your wife there. She really looked good in the blonde wig, sparkly tube top, and the white mini skirt. She didn't think much of Paula though. ;-)
