How do you suppose to clean up your repeater syringes? Do you wash them out and let them dry? Alcohol them down? What’s the best way to take care of these expensive guns? Also where do you find new o-rings? Can you lube the O-rings. I want to keep them in top shape. I have one gun that leaks around the o-ring when trying to pull medication from the bottle. Thanks

I dismantle them, place in a plastic culinder , run through a cycle in dishwasher.
Let them dry. I use mineral oil,on o rings. And ratchet.
I have Allflex. Go to my oring box and select.
The rioux , I gets part and barrels from my vet. I leave the plunger loose in barrel till I use it.

Hot water. No Alcohol or soap. Residual can harm vaccines.

Are they Allflex brand? If so from what I've seen you'd have to let a cow stomp on the gun to ruin it.

If the gun is used for MLV vaccines just disassemble, use clean distilled hot water only to clean, reassemble, cycle some boiling water through once or twice. Air dry. If required lubricate o-rings with vegetable oil.

Try harder, 😂
I have 7 in my vet box. 3-50ml and 4-25ml. I’ve only had one break. The holding paw on the ratcheting mechanism came apart. No putting it back together. So it became spare parts for the rest.
I still love my Roux syringes but haven’t used them for years.
Like you said the Alflex ones just work.

We've got 3 50cc's and 1 25cc. I bought the 25cc because the dayworkers didn't feel like the 50cc was giving 2cc 🤣🤣. I need to put another 25cc on my vet order list. I've also got one of the allflex guns that holds a small bottle. I really like using it but getting the bottle off is frustrating.

I feel the same way. 2cc in the 25’s is a full pull. I can even wear gloves on those single digit days and still feel like I’m giving a full dose.
I use the 50’s mainly for stuff that has a 3cc or 5cc dose.
