Here is a small portion or a sales auction and I need to know what part of it means. Mainly what is the M&L 1 and the M&L 2 ? other than that I got it down. lol Also how are these prices compared to other areas. Thanks.

If you're thinking about selling there - your only alternatives would be Moorefield and Weston - I'm guessing the prices are very much in line with the others in your area. Likely to see many of the same buyers at all these markets. Please note - that's not a lot of calves being sold some buyers aren't going to be as strong as if they could get an entire load.
 
Those prices seem a little lower than the norm, but not terrible either. Two or three could have been shoddy and drew down the average. It is hard to "average" prices when I don't know the quality of cattle. If there would have been a hundred times that, more buyers would be there as previously stated in the above posts, and you could get a better idea of the average prices.
 
Brierpatch -
Keep in mind that M&L calves are Angus, Char., Here. etc. Holsteins usually grade L 3 and the Highland cattle you want will be S1&2 (S = small). Those prices rarely get printed because they are much lower.
