I believe they are trying to make all of the Chicago natives feel at home while they are going to college at Carbondale.

Does anyone from Chicago go to school in Carbondale? I would think anyone from Chicago attending SIUC would pay out of state tuition the way the state treats Southern Illinois. Cheaper for them to go anywhere else.

A big chunk of the students at SIUC are from Chicago. Pretty much the ones that get rejected from UI go there to get away from the city to "party". More like run wild in the streets.
