Nearest Cattle Auction to Frost, TX

Hi,
Does anyone know what is the closest Cattle Auction to Frost, TX in Navarro Co.? I've asked around Frost and no one seems to know or don't want to tell me.
I'm looking to take my first calves to auction soon.

Any help will be appreciated.

Ennis did have a sale barn it is about 30 miles

I like the salebarn in West, Tx http://www.westauction.us.

Sale is on Thursdays. Looks like Frost is about 35-40 miles NE of there.

Have you tried the Hillsboro and Corsicana yellow pages?

Hubbard is on Monday,
Corsicana is on Tuesday,
West and Groesbeck are on Thursday
Waco and Athens are on Friday
Van Zandt at Wills Point and Cleburne are on Saturday

Just so you'd know, Cleburne changed theirs to Monday a few weeks ago.

But Wills Point and Mineral Wells still have their Saturday sales.

according to switchboard.com there is one in Hubbard and one in West.

And in a 75 mile radius of Frost looks like there are about a dozen

I would NOT recommend the Hubbard auction. If you've got good calves, take them to one of the others. A lot of junk goes through Hubbard.

West and Groesbeck are good, but as mentioned previously, some of the others are probably closer.
