National Anthem Unbelievable

Wow, I definitely got goosebumps!

To this day my favorite National Anthem was performed at Round Rock Stadium by a woman I worked with that had cerebral palsy, in a wheelchair, and the most amazing voice. Her recently adopted daughter from China sat on her lap. Cried my eyes out.

That was awesome. My daughter used to do the Anthem at a lot of sporting events, I looked up this old YouTube video of her about 5 years ago. Brought a tear to my eye. You should hear her now. She is very soft spoken but watch out when she sings.

Very talented! 5 years ago? How old is she now?

Great! My daughter used to sing The National Anthem before football games and baseball games when she was in high school. Sure wish I had a video of her singing back then. Hard to believe that it has been 16 years.

Sorry dun, I wasn't trying to hijack you, I love a good Anthem.
TC, my daughter is 15.5 right now. I can't remember when that video was posted bit it was about 5 years ago. She was blessed with the talent of music and I love every minute of it!

Both were Very impressive. It's a shame that some of our National leaders do not get goosebumps for this very thing. " Flag icon that we do not have"

Not a problem. I get so sick of people trying to jazz it up and make it "theirs" with some vocal foolishness. To have 500 kids all sing it at once just blew my socks off. A well done singing of it is always welcome

XLNT Bravo.
I have always listened to National Public Radio when I drive hame from work. Many years ago I heard an instrumental rendition of SSB that was most unusual and quite moving, truly different. I would have sworn it was arranged by a HEAVY METAL artist but was surprised to learn it had been arranged by some composer in the early 1900's, before it was officially our National Anthem. I have made attempts to find it, but no luck. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
