My first visit to a Bass Pro Shop

Last week, my wife and I went to see her family in OK. We stopped off in Memphis TN, on the way. It was fairly early and she looked up points of interest, Bass Pro was listed. I had never been to one so it sounded like something I would like. We passed by a smaller one on the way. We were very surprised to see such a huge pyramid shaped building. Inside was a water way with lots of fish some of them were big sturgeon. An upright tank had several game fish in it including bass and catfish. Also there was an alligator exhibit. There is an elevator that goes up 30 stories high to a lookout where you can see the city, and river. Over 100 hotel rooms are inside as well as a restaurant. It made for a nice outing.

I've been in the one in Clarksville In. I thought it was pretty big, thisn sounds huge.

Did you ask if they had minnows or crickets?

one here is nice no hotel in it but has a catch and release trout pool for kids and all that other stuff. We recently got a cabelas too.
