Her with this years calf, born first part of May

We gave this calf to our son & wife for wedding present, her name is Jewel (shame on me for naming her), my son married end of April.

If ever I get married I am gonna have to put my wedding gift directory somewhere other than a major department store

I know NADDA about beef cow conformation yet, but she sure is cute

Thanks, her is one more better pic of her. ..she is a nice calf. her momma a limo/angus, bull was a limo/angus/herford. She will make a nice cow...Her momma a little big I'd guess 1500lbs

My daughter gets married next year and will get a heifer too...We are trying to get them interested in working the farm with us.

I can't tell much about the cow, but calf looks like she will be a keeper!

A wedding present! What a good idea. I'm surprised that she doesn't have a white face if the bull is 1/3 Hereford. That white face usually carries over for several generations. Pretty heifer, though.
