Well yesterday i had the opportunity to take my kids hunting for the first time this year and we were successful. My 12 year old daughter wanted to start shooting a gun last year. After shooting a buck and losing it, she was upset. This year we went and 2 does came out. She put the scope on one and let the 243 do its job. It was about a 150 yard shot and smoked her with a double lung shot. She ran about 40 yards before piling up. My daughter was not excited until she trailed her up and found her. She didnt want to have the same results as last year. My 7 year old boy missed one that afternoon. He was a little upset but i told him the season is not over. I hope this is one of many in her lifetime.
