My cow is sike - help!

We only have one calf about 8 months old. He has really runny bowels and also a runny nose. He's off his feed and not eating much hay. What could be his problem?

Scours and most likely pneumonia. Take his temperature, "normal" is 101.5. Are his ears droopy? Blood in the stool? Breathing hard? Lethargic?

Electrolytes, Tri Pectate, Pro Bios & Terramycin boluses usually works for scours but if there's blood in the stool he may have coccidiosis and Corrid generally clears it right up. Take a sample to your vet to see what you're dealing with.

If he has a temp and all signs indicate pneumonia or respiratory he needs something like Resflor Gold, Nuflor, Draxxin, Baytril, etc.
