I don't know how you folks feel but I am so so tired of paying hard earned cash for poorly engineered and manufactured products which are badged American Made.
The bumper fell off my John Deere lawn mower. To repair I have to remove the hood and sheet metal covering the muffler, which is not a huge job, difficult for me but doable. What makes me so angry is during assembly they did not use self locking nuts on the bolts which would have prevented this problem. I guess I just expect more for $2600.00, and I'm just get'n two old to deal with this crap.

It doesn't matter what brand of equipment it is, when it breaks it's junk. Some brands just seem to break more than others.IMO

John deere, Husquvarna, and all the "big names" have consumer lines.. stuff that's just garbage.. I know Husky lawnmowers are made by Yardworks.. yes, in the US of A, and I have a sneaking suspicion JD is no different.. The mower decks are all made of recycled tin cans, designed to rust out etc.. I have a Murray that's 20 years old, and it has all sorts of bolts coming loose on it too.. at least they went as far as a metal hood on that one as opposed to the new style which is all plastic and cracks up after 10 years.. then you have a real piece of junk.

And here I had Husky fever yesterday and bought a 7021P mower and a 550 XPG saw.
