I have a grandson who won the mutton bustin at his local rodeo. Won a nicer belt buckle than they gave away for riding broncs 50 years ago. Picture of him shows him sitting upright with one hand in a rope like the big boys. He told his dad that now I know how Stetson Wright feels. Dad repied yep you made the whistle. The boy said, no dad I was 90 points!

Little closer to the ground on a sheep than a bulls back . Just saying. 🤠
Well when you are 6 years old bulls are not in the program for a few years yet. His Dad is the cow boss on a fairly big ranch in Idaho. He gets to spend a lot of time on a horse moving cows. Those ranch kids learn to sit on something at pretty young age. I am sure he has ridden a few calves. His dad was 8th in the world riding saddle broncs at one time. And his mom could ride the hair off a buffalo. So he comes by in naturally.
