Probably been ask before but can't find it. What effect would pulling multiflora rose out by the roots have? Would it kill it or make it worse?

We pull ours out or scoop it out with a bucket. Fairly shallow roots. It will kill it better... might get a few shoots but I much prefer to remove the bulk of the plant than to kill with chemicals.

Can you get to them with a bush hog? Cut them down to ground about the first of July. Come back the first week of September and spray the regrowth. We wiped out multifloral on our farm by doing that.

thanks guys, I usually spray with Crossbow but have a few big ones scattered around and thought while I'm out looking for Russian Olive and Ceder trees and thorn trees to pull would pull some Multiflora Rose. I have one of those tree/post pullers on skidsteer.
