Now that your Durana clover is established well, how tall is it growing this year? I am wondering if it will grow tall enough with bermuda to be able to use as hay. Have you tried to bale any of the Durana? I discussed this with the extension agent and he talked highly of the Durana, but just by what he reads, like myself. He said he thought it might not be tall enough to cut for hay. He suggested the Patriot. I have looked at the Patriot, but I don't think it is as agressive as the Durana. The Patriot grows taller, but he said it is not immune to fungus that knocks it back. Have you run across anyone that planted the Patriot? I hope that your Durana has grown tall enough that it will cut well with a disc mower.
