Moved the 10 bred heifers due next month to the farm where our head catch is located. Just in case we have to assist one . Then wormed and gave a second round of vaccinations to the 6 brangus heifers and moved them to the open heifer pasture. Went smoother than we normally are accustomed to !
Moving days get a bit more extensive here. A couple of pictures from past moving days. They will happen again this year in late April or very early May.
B opening the gate. Cows all go that white building above and slightly to the right of the trailer. That road into the hole between here and there is interesting. First gear going both up and down.

Here comes 250 pairs marching up the road. It will take them 3 days to arrive at the west end of there summer range. In a week or so another herd of 250 will make the same trip.
Guarding my driveway so the cows continue going up the road. My driveway is the last one. From here it is clear sailing up the canyon with no places for the cows to get side tracked.
Moved our bred heifers to the barn last Thursday. Calving officially kicked off yesterday (and another one this morning). Here's hoping for zero issues this year!!!
