Mortality

Two large Fierce Grape Gatorades on the same day will give you a very St. Patricks day result..... You would think it would be purple. It is not in the pee though, it stays the same...

Our mortality is something we don't think about very often. Or at least I don't. Not till yesterday anyway. You see, yesterday I had to take a leak and as I stood over the bowl I noticed my urine was blood red. Now I'm not a doctor but I'm pretty sure this isn't a good sign. Not wanting to worry my wife and I wasn't about to bother my doctor on the weekend I took the wait and see approach. Been feeling fine so no need to rush things right? But I have to admit it got me a little worried.

Nevertheless I went about my business and forgot about the whole thing till that night. That night I had to do some throne sitting and when I finished I noticed the water in the bowl was red. Under closer examination I noticed the turd was blood red and was leaching red into the water. Again, I am no doctor but I don't think this was a good sign. Again, I didn't want to bother anyone with this but it got me to thinking about all my plans and goals I had yet to acheive and how little time I might have left on the earth. I thought of the people I had wronged and owed apologies. I even thought of those who had wronged me and who I should grant forgiveness. With some deep reflection it became obvious to me that there was a lot of sfuff I still need to do on this earth and the time is running short so I best get to it and make the most of each and every day. Then I thought of all the beets I had eaten and how maybe I shouldn't eat beets all day - good for you or not.

You slay me Jo....

The grape flavored zero calorie sams choice drink mixes. I quit them cold turkey when it happened to me.
